The protection of your personal data is an important concern for us. This privacy policy informs you about which data we collect in connection with our newsletter, for what purpose we process it, and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Data we process
When you sign up for our newsletter, we process the e-mail address you provide. In addition, for technical reasons we store the time of your registration and of its confirmation in order to be able to document the sign-up process.
Providing any further data is not required to receive the newsletter. The only mandatory field is your e-mail address.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your e-mail address solely to inform you about the launch of our service, beta access, early-access benefits and related news about BlueNet-Hosting.
The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 7(2) no. 3 UWG. You grant this consent upon registration and can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.
Storage period
We store your data for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. After you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from the newsletter distribution list without undue delay, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Revocation and unsubscription
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and thereby revoke your consent. To do so, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter e-mail or write to us at info@bluenet-hosting.com. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the point of revocation.
Disclosure to third parties
Your e-mail address is not sold and not passed on to third parties. The newsletter is sent exclusively via our own mail server. No external dispatch service providers to whom your data would be transmitted are used.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to revoke a consent you have given (Art. 7(3) GDPR) regarding the personal data we store about you.
An informal message to info@bluenet-hosting.com is sufficient to exercise your rights.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is in particular the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or of our company's registered office.
